JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The Manager of Risk Management is a key member of the leadership team and will be responsible for assisting the Director of Risk Management in leading our hospitals Patient Safety-Risk Management Program.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited College or University in related field required
- One (1) to three (3) years Risk Management experience
- Knowledgeable regarding Joint Commission Standards and CMS/DHS Regulations.
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) preferred
- Thorough knowledge of hospital policies and procedures.
- Must possess a detailed in-depth knowledge of the principles of regulations and standards to meet hospital licensing and accreditation.
- Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff as well as ability to interact well with the public.
