Job Title: RN CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room)
Location: Gastonia NC
Duration: 13 Weeks (extendable)
Shift: MondayFriday 6:45 AM 3:15 PM (8x5)
Pay Rate: $2782 Weekly Gross

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to assist in complex cardiovascular surgical procedures. The role requires expertise in cardiac surgeries valve replacements hybrid procedures and thoracic cases. The RN will provide support before during and after surgical procedures ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile techniques.

Responsibilities:

Assist with various cardiovascular surgeries including:
- CABG (on and off bypass)
- Mitral or Aortic Valve Replacements
- Bentall Procedures
- Pulmonary Embolism cases
- Balloon Pump and Impella support
- Hybrid TAVR procedures
- Thoracic surgeries: VATS Thoracotomy Lobectomy Decortication Wedge Biopsy
Float to other operating rooms as required
Participate in on-call rotation: 12 weekday calls (3 PM 7 AM) weekly and one full weekend call every 4th weekend (Friday 3 PM Monday 7 AM)
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Certifications:

AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
Certified Perioperative Nurse (CNOR)

Education:

Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
