Logistics Analyst (Returnship)

Dealer Aftermarket Collaboration(DAC) Overview :
DAC team is focused on improving Caterpillars overall supply chain performance. This group is responsible for seamless execution of critical processes in the areas of Inventory Management New Product Introduction (NPI) Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) Supply Chain Solutions Inventory Control Services and Business Analytics. Supply Chain Services team delivers value by initiating and driving business-critical projects and solutions.
Caterpillar Returnship is a 24-week company paid office-based program designed to enable a soft launch for experienced professionals on a career break. This initiative includes networking sessions coaching trainings and a project / work scope assignment.

Inventory Management - Manufacturing: Knowledge of processes and methods of inventory management; ability to effectively manage local or distributed inventories of raw materials work-in-progress and finished goods.
Level Working Knowledge:
Follows processes to take stock release inventory or return into processing; resolves discrepancies.
Tracks inventory information for a specific product group or location.
Works with basic tasks of inventory management for a specific location.
Produces basic inventory management reports for senior staff to reconcile the inventory balances.
Performs the receiving ticketing checking in and distributing of inventory items for a specific location.
