Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated AV Design Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing pre-sales support creating effective AV solutions and collaborating closely with clients to meet their audiovisual needs.
Responsibilities:
Pre-Sales Support:
Engage with clients to understand their AV requirements and objectives. Provide technical expertise during the pre-sales phase offering insights into AV solutions.
Solution Design:
Design comprehensive AV solutions based on client specifications and industry best detailed AV system schematics diagrams and documentation.
Client Collaboration:
Work closely with clients to present and explain proposed AV designs addressing any inquiries or technical guidance to clients and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Product Knowledge:
Stay updated on the latest AV technologies and products. Collaborate with vendors to understand product features and capabilities.
Collaboration with Sales Teams:
Partner with sales teams to develop proposals and presentations for in preparing accurate and competitive project bids.
Quality Assurance:
Conduct system testing and quality assurance checks on AV that designed solutions meet both client requirements and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Audiovisual Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience in AV pre-sales support and design engineering.
- Proficient in using AV design software and tools.
- Strong understanding of audiovisual technologies signal flow and integration.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills :
- Industry certifications such as CTS CTS-D (InfoComm Certified Technology Specialist - Design) are a plus.
- Familiarity with control systems (Crestron AMX) and video conferencing solutions.
- Project management skills for coordinating AV installations.
