Job Summary

Skills Required:

The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience with a Financial Ser-vices Firm Technology vendor or systems integrator designing and implementing large scale networks

1. Ethernet technologies: SPT 802.1Q VPC Multilayer Switching; Leaf-Spine IP Fabric

2. IP Routing: RIP OSPF BGP MPBGP TCP/IP

3. Multicast routing: PIM IGMP MSDP. VxLAN

4. Platform knowledge on Cisco Switching & Routing Platforms -Nexus 9000 Series Data Centre Switching Platform- ASR 1000x Series Routers- ASR 9000 Series Routers

5. Platform Knowledge on Arista Switching platforms

6. Working knowledge on various Network Cisco IOS IOS-XE NXOS IOS-XR Arista EOS

7. Certifications: CCIE or equivalent

Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience with a Financial Services Firm Technology vendor or systems integrator designing and implementing large scale networks. Strong experience and hands-on candidate in Data Center Networking (Routing and Switching) SD WAN is mandatory with Cisco certification- CCIE

Roles and Responsibilities:

The engineer will be responsible for evaluating engineering designing and troubleshooting enterprise scale Data Centre networks.

The candidate will be responsible for

Authoring of design documents engineering standards and creating best practice technical architecture models utilizing knowledge of industry and technical trends

Mentoring and knowledge transfer to team members across the organization.

Participating in the weekly design meetings

Engaging with project managers to develop the execution and test plans for network changes.

Serve as an escalation for the operating teams during network outages.

Ability to work both independently and as a team member is essential.

Strong presentation skills are imperative to be able to explain network design articu-late risk and facilitate decision making.

Strong security focus and experience with Network Security Concepts and Multi-tier Security architectures.
