Location: 1 Olympic Plaza Colorado Springs CO 80909
Shift: Sunday - Thursday 8am-4:30pm
Requirements: Have Valid Drivers License Fluency in English.
Payrate: $18.00 Hourly

Basic Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older

No high school diploma GED or college degree required

Job Summary:
The Floating Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across multiple facilities or buildings. This role involves frequent movement between locations heavy footwork and lifting of equipment or materials. The ideal candidate is reliable physically fit and adaptable to changing environments and schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Facility Cleaning:

Clean and sanitize restrooms break rooms offices and common areas.
Sweep mop vacuum and polish floors.
Empty trash and recycling bins and transport waste to designated disposal areas.
Restock supplies such as soap paper towels and toilet paper.

Heavy Lifting & Physical Tasks:

Move furniture equipment and supplies between locations.
Load and unload cleaning materials and tools.
Assist with setup and breakdown of rooms for events or meetings.
Perform deep cleaning tasks that require physical exertion (e.g. scrubbing lifting climbing ladders).

Mobility & Coverage:

Travel between multiple buildings or sites as assigned.
Fill in for absent janitorial staff or cover high-demand areas.
Maintain flexibility in scheduling and location assignments.

Safety & Maintenance:

Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals and equipment.
Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors.
Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.

Qualifications:

Previous janitorial or custodial experience strongly preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Valid drivers license.

Skills:

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness standards.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Good communication and teamwork.
Physical stamina and endurance.
