Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed both major and minor which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Lead (SME) roles providing oversight for outsourced project management with annual spend of $100MM.
2. Develop implement and monitor key performance metrics for project management outsourced vendors
3. Leads highly complex and visible projects with notable risk and complexity.
4. Thorough understanding of project management disciplines such as ability to read and understand construction documents and design/planning principles.
5. Serves as an escalation point to resolve project issues.
6. Focuses on enhancing Truists project management processes to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget.
7. Identifies and resolves technical operational risk management business and organizational challenges.
8. Makes leadership decisions within established policies procedures and established objectives.
9. Reviews and approves contracts change orders purchase orders and invoices.
10. Collaboration with strategy design property management and finance teammates to ensure efficient and complete end-to-end project process.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelors degree or equivalent and 8 years of related experience
2. Solid understanding of principles practices theories and/or methodologies associated with the project management discipline.
3. Ability to manage competing priorities.
4. Ability to solve problems in straightforward situations by analyzing possible solutions using experience judgment and precedents.
5. Ability to communicate complex information in straightforward situations.
6. Experience with Microsoft Office products.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. PMP Certification
2. Previous project management experience in the banking industry.
