- Drive La Sierra University students between the Riverside campus and Criminal Justice
Corona campus in University van. - Keep a log of all commute times and passengers.
- Help keep the van tidy and secure.
- Notify supervisor of any issues or maintenance warnings etc.

- Reliable and punctual
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Provide comfortable atmosphere for riders
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a current student at La Sierra University to apply
- Must be 21 years old or older
- Must have a valid and current California drivers license
- Must have an acceptable driving record*
- Must complete any driver training provided by our Safety team
Availability:
- Morning Afternoon and Evening Shifts available. Shifts are typically 30 minutes per route
but longer upon occasion (i.e. periodically filling gas or if delays are encountered.) - Tentative schedule for Fall:
- Mon-Thurs: 8:15am Riverside campus to Corona campus
- Mon-Thurs: 3:30pm Corona campus to Riverside campus
- Mon-Thurs: 4:15pm Riverside campus to Corona campus
- Mon Wed & Thurs: 5:15pm / Tues: 6:15pm Corona campus to Riverside campus
*Times will vary by quarter. Some quarters may include Friday morning and afternoon shifts. The
latest return time (Mon-Thurs) may be 10pm.*
Wage Range: $16.50 to $17.30 per hour
*Drivers shall have an acceptable driving record during the previous three years with not more than
two traffic citations and no at-fault accidents while driving any vehicle. Criteria that may indicate an
unacceptable record includes but is not limited to:
- Two or more moving violations in a year
- Three or more chargeable accidents within a year. Chargeable means that the driver is
determined to be the primary cause of the accident through speeding inattention etc.
Contributing factors such as weather or mechanical problems will be taken into
consideration. - Any combination of accidents and/or moving violations.
Motor Vehicle Records report will be obtained on all drivers prior to employment and no less than
every six months. Driver to complete the Driver Questionnaire form; obtain their own driving record
report from the DMV and submit forms to Risk Management. Drive will also be required to complete
defensive driver safety training.
