As a Consumer Engagement Manager youll act as a strategic liaison between CIO domains and Global Infrastructure ensuring that services are aligned with business priorities and that feedback flows seamlessly across the organization. Youll play a critical role in advocating for consumer needs driving transparency and enabling continuous improvement.

The team

Youll be part of the Consumer Engagement team within Global Infrastructure working closely with IT leads IT Area Leads Product Managers Service Owners and key stakeholders across Engineering & Reliability CISO Retail & Banking Technology and more. Our mission is to ensure that infrastructure services are delivered in a way that is responsive transparent and aligned with INGs strategic goals.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Advocate for CIO Domains: Represent the interests of CIO domains across Global Infrastructure and Service Providers to ensure their needs and priorities are addressed.
  • Drive Strategic Alignment: Foster strong alignment between CIO domains Global Infrastructure and key service partners (e.g. E&R CISO) to support cohesive service delivery and the making of key strategic initiatives in the CIO domain with dependencies on Infrastructure Delivery.
  • Aggregate and Share Insights: Gather feedback from CIO domains and effectively communicate insights across product and service teams to inform continuous improvement.
  • Ensure Transparent Communication: Maintain consistent two-way communication between CIO domains and infrastructure teams to promote transparency responsiveness and adaptability. Understand / identify opportunities and/or risks in scheduled and unexpected changes to prevent escalation.
  • Provide Strategic Guidance: Deliver expert advice and education on infrastructure FinOps and cloud strategies to support informed decision-making.
  • Oversee Portfolio and Program Engagement: Manage portfolios programs and relationships with countries and regional initiatives ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate Financial Oversight: Handle finance-related matters including non-standard offerings and specific oversight.
  • Lead Thematic Engagement: Implement a 360 consumer engagement model to ensure a comprehensive and integrated approach to stakeholder management.
  • Support Regulatory and Risk Initiatives: Contribute to ongoing regulatory discussions risk mitigation efforts program implementations and other continuous improvement initiatives.

You have:

  • A strong background inInformation Management Computer Science or Informaticseither through formal education or extensive hands-on experience.
  • Proven experience intechnical rolessuch asTechnical Chapter Lead Feature Engineer SRE or Infrastructure Engineer ideally within one of our business domains.
  • Familiarity withcloud technologies IT governance and enterprise-scale environments. This really is a must have.
  • The ability tolead technical conversationsand make informed decisions on architecture infrastructure and application landscapes.
  • A solid understanding ofapplication technology infrastructure and how they align withbusiness priorities.
  • A strong understanding of the strategic plans and be able to identify the priorities that will contribute to better alignment between the Domain and GI
  • Experience driving initiatives in:
    • Life Cycle Management (LCM)of applications and infrastructure
    • Migrations(e.g. cloud data center platform transitions)
    • Risk reduction and technical debt remediation
    • FinOpsand cost optimization strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to translate between technical and business perspectives.
  • ABachelors or Masters levelof working and thinking.
