Apprentice Maintenance& Facilities Operative

We are looking for a motivated Apprentice Maintenance & FacilitiesOperative to joinour Facilities team at Manchesters first five-star hotel The Lowry. Reportingto the Assistant Facilities Manager with a dotted line to the Head ofFacilities & Compliance this role offers the chance to gain hands-onexperience in luxury hospitality while completing a recognised apprenticeshipin partnership with Trafford & Stockport College.

About theApprenticeship
As part of the apprenticeship you will spend one paid day each week attendingStockport Collegewith the rest of your time working on-site at The Lowry Hotel. You will developskills across a wide range of trades including carpentry plumbing plasteringtiling painting and decorating as well as general day-to-day also gain knowledge of building safety sustainability and digitalreporting giving you a strong foundation for a career in facilities management.

Your role will include:

Supporting the facilities team withdaily maintenance and repair tasks.

Assisting with planned and responsiveworks across the hotel.

Learning and applying trade skills in alive hospitality environment.

Working both indoors and outdoors tomaintain hotel standards.

Developing skills in sustainability andbuilding performance optimisation.

Hours of Work
This is a full-time role on a shift basis including weekends with early andlate shifts between 9amand 9pm. Flexibility is essential.
