Status: HourlyNon-Exempt
Compensation Range:$22.00-23.00/hour commensurate with experience and education.
Age Requirements: Must be 18
Additional Requirements:Overnight shift must be flexible to work any night of the week/weekends/holidays

Role Summary:
The Front Office Overnight Supervisor assists the Assistant Front Office Manager and the Front Office Manager in supervising and training all front office associates. This position is largely responsible for coordinating the daily operations of the front office. This position is responsible for the oversight and successful operation of all aspects of the Overnight shift and Night Audit.


Responsibilities:
  1. Supervises the Greeters Overnight Hosts and Personal Hosts to ensure that all policies and procedures are met.
  2. Assists in training scheduling supervising and developing front office associates.
  3. Assists the Assistant FOM and FOM with special projects and assignments.
  4. Assists in planning and executing staff training and meetings.
  5. Resolves guest complaints to the satisfaction of the guest; responds promptly to any guest request for service.
  6. Assists the FOM and the AFOM in writing schedules and monitoring labor in accordance with labor standards and forecasting.
  7. Assigns daily work and projects to associates.
  8. Oversees and participates in guest registration and check-out.
  9. Ensures adherence to procedures for hotel accounting credit control handling of financial transactions securities of monies guest security and emergency procedures as established.
  10. Fills in for all positions when associates call off.
  11. Performs all front office job duties on a daily basis.
  12. Stresses the importance of our Core Values on a regular basis to all staff.
  13. Acquires and relays information that personalizes the guests stay.
  14. Models and drives the personalized guest experience programs.
  15. Maintains close and harmonious working relationships with all hotel departments.
  16. Be fluent with Opera PMS Guest History Reservations Ibahn Digital Alchemy Micro Systems Microsoft Outlook and any other pertinent hotel operational technology.
  17. Transports guests and other cast members in company vehicles.
  18. Understands applicable emergency and evacuation protocol.
  19. Prepares and distributes Morning Reports to Hotel Management.
  20. Responsible for reviewing each days arrivals to ensure that billing on each reservation is correct guests preferences are noted/assigned etc.
  21. Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:


Education
  1. High school diploma or equivalent education

Experience
  1. Previous Front Office experience required.
  2. Minimum of two years experience in hotel industry in a luxury environment.
  3. Minimum of one year supervisory/and or management experience.
  4. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule as the hours for this position will vary.
  5. Knowledge of PMS (Property Management System) Opera is preferred.
  6. Requires good verbal and written communication skills.
