Within ITA the Hiring Intelligence Science & Experimentation (HIRISE) team leverages Agentic AI and data analytics to revolutionize hiring through interactive personalized assessments and intelligent chat-based systems. Our AI-powered web products transform recruitment by providing real-time insights detecting patterns and surfacing hiring anomalies through natural language queries. Rooted in simplicity scalability and sustainability HIRISE serves as ITAs central intelligence hub enabling global stakeholders to make data-driven decisions. Our innovative solutions combine traditional evaluation methods with conversational AI to create effective recruiting processes while predicting hiring trends. Working at the convergence of artificial intelligence and talent acquisition youll develop adaptive systems that scale with business growth experiment with cutting-edge AI technologies and deliver exponential value through intelligent automation and insights.
- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java C or C# including object-oriented design
- Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience in machine learning data mining information retrieval statistics or natural language processing

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge skills and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
