This role is at the forefront of CMC product and process development. The Lead Technician is responsible for executing and improving composite layup processes providing feedback on process definitions and ensuring high-quality production of composite components.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:

The specific responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Read understand and execute detailed work instructions; contribute inputs and feedback on the definition of new and existing processes

  • Accurately execute the requirements of well-defined and more ambiguous tasks: hand placement of composite material patterns over custom molds precision tools or composite work pieces usage of hand tools to trim cut or grind composite components

  • Understand and operate composite material molding and processing equipment

  • Maintain and clean composite product tooling

  • Accurately complete paperwork and system transactions to ensure composite component traceability

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Associates degree or a high school diploma/GED from an accredited school or institution

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
