About the Role:
As a Quality and Safety Clinical Risk Nurse you will play a key role in promoting safe high-quality care and supporting clinical teams to manage risk effectively. Youll contribute to nursing assessments provide clinical advice and help integrate care within a robust risk management framework.
Your responsibilities will include supporting the implementation of regional risk management processes investigating complaints and adverse events and managing data to inform decision-making and continuous improvement. You will work collaboratively with the Clinical Risk Manager and Director Quality and Safety to provide expert guidance on clinical governance medico-legal matters and sentinel event reviews.
Youll also contribute to education and professional development by mentoring staff supporting student learning and sharing evidence-based insights to improve practice and patient outcomes.
What Were Looking For:
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds or who is eligible to hold a current practicing certificate.
- Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
- Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word Excel.
