Description
The hospital Chaplain Associate provides pastoral care and support to meet the spiritual needs of patients families and hospital staff seeking support. Being present with patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures or treatments facing end of life issues or involved in traumatic accidents the Associate Chaplain will assist patients families and staff understand more fully these events as they relate to their emotional and spiritual wellbeing. The Chaplain Associate will have the ability to work within a team environment to provide patient care. The ability to work in stressful situations while maintaining a calm demeanor is important. Individual should be able to work independently and be flexible when faced with multiple priorities and be available to provide educational support to hospital staff and the community.

Licenses and Certifications Required None Educational Requirements Theology or related field preferred Experience Requirements Ministry experience required Special Skills or Training Requirements Excellent communication skills 1-on-1 or in group setting Requires ability to work independently Ability to have flexibility with work schedule Ability to multi-taskRequired Experience:
