Job Description

We are currently looking for a Back-End Software Engineer. You will be responsible for building the server-side of our web-oriented solutions translating our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications.

Required Skills:

Algorithmic mind.
Good theoretical knowledge of computer science (words like patterns recursion pointer stack tree structure etc shouldnt frighten you).
5 year of professional relevant experience.
Excellent knowledge of Java language (JMM and threading model included).
Good experience with a well-known infrastructural framework (Spring Framework Vert.x Micronaut etc).
Solid understanding of software engineering techniques methodologies and practices (OOP algorithmic problem solving skill).
Good understanding of client-server application principles network applications and protocols such as HTTP.
Experience working with relational and noSQL databases and ORM frameworks.
Experience with an enterprise-grade queues such as Kafka RabbitMQ NATS.
Experience integrating with external APIs (REST GraphQL etc).
Experience of writing unit tests.
Spoken technical English.

Will be a Plus:

Experience of performance optimization of an existing solution (DB optimization and concurrency optimizations are included).
Knowledge of any other backend programming language (e.g. Python Go Rust).
Understanding of domain-driven development principles (DDD).
Experience with deployment of back-end applications (e.g. Docker Terraform Ansible AWS (Lambda IoT) CI/CD).
Experience of writing and debugging concurrent applications. Understanding of multithreading model of Java.
Fluent English.
