Job Summary
Located within Severna Park High School in Anne Arundel County Maryland Sheppard Pratt Schooloffers a specialized 10-month special education program serving students in grade 9 through 12. Our unique location within Severna Park High School grants us access to shared facilities and resources and our students are exposed to general education peers and classes.
What to expect.
You will ensure the successful implementation and coordination of educational programs and services for our students.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with teachers administrators and support staff to develop implement and evaluate individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Consulting with special education team to develop academic and behavioral strategies to better effectuate the educational process.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of student data including IEPs progress reports and assessments.
- Provides leadership and coordination of assigned program in collaboration with the education director and administrative team.

Pay range for this position is $50086.40 - $92580.80 and is determined on a number of factors including but not limited to education and years and level of related experience.
What we need from you.
- Bachelors degree. Masters degree preferred.
- 2 years of progressively more responsible experience in a special education setting.
- MSDE licensure in secondary education special education or administration.
- Candidates without current licensure must be eligible to apply within 30 days of employment.
