Title: Receiving Clerk (Re-inventory)
Job Classification: Hourly Non-exempt
Department: Warehouse/Material Management
Reports To: Receiving Supervisor
General purpose of Job: Receive in Materials returned from the production floor that are to be re-used at a later time. Locate re-inventoried products on warehouse racking. Organize by date Hold products for recycling based on Job Instructions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Know and follow the Re-inventory/Receiving/Warehouse Standard Operating Procedures
- Receive products to Software system. Properly identify skids. Locate to warehouse racking.
- Maintain area Z-8-8 (Re-inventory) accurately. Make sure all products are correctly relocated.
- Maintain an orderly and clean re-inventory area.
- Perform Cycle Count of Aisle 11 Racking (Re-inventory storage) every 2 months.
- Assist other receiving personnel and material handlers as needed.
- Any other duties assigned by supervisor
Education and/or Experience and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED;
- Previous Receiving/Warehouse experience highly desired.
- Maintain current license for forklift & rider power jacks.
- Able to read understand and follow Standard Operating Procedures established by Management
- Able to read understand and follow Impact Policies regarding attendance/behavior/procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Able to meet deadlines established and exercise good judgment.
- Able to operate necessary computer software. Outlook Teams Internal software.
- Must be able to work independently.
Performance Measurement: Performance feedback will take place both verbally and written on a day-to-day as needed basis recognition in monthly employee recognition meetings formal training on changes in SOP as needed with a formal review by the supervisor at least annually
Language and Math Skills:
Ability to read write and speak English at a sufficient level to understand/follow/complete all tasks assigned. Must be able to perform mathematical calculations sufficient to receive pull and calculate inventory balances. This shall include addition subtraction multiplication and division.
Physical Demands:
Often standing or walking may climb balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl. Often lift up to 40 lbs & sometimes up to 70 lbs with the assistance of another employee. Use hands to finger handle or feel. Reach with hands and arms. Vision requirements are close vision distance vision peripheral vision & ability to focus.
Work Environment:
Work near moving mechanical parts fumes & air borne particles risk of electrical shock and exposure to toxic chemicals. The noise level is moderate to loud.
