Job Summary
Homemaker & Heavy Chore Specialist Flexible Shifts Reliable Hours Local Routes!
Locations: Serving Stoneham Wakefield Woburn Melrose Reading Lynn Peabody Salem Danvers Beverly Andover Lawrence Haverhill Lowell Methuen and surrounding towns throughout Middlesex Essex and the Merrimack Valley.
Schedule: Full-Time or Part-Time Flexible Hours Short Shifts Available
About the Role
Abernathy Home Care is seeking reliable compassionate Homemakers and Heavy Chore Specialists to join our dedicated team serving elders through ASAP programs including Mystic Valley Elder Services Greater Lynn Senior Services (GLSS) and Minute Man Senior Services.
Youll help older adults remain safe clean and comfortable in their homes by providing essential household support and cleaning services that promote dignity and independence.
No experience required were willing to train the right candidates!
Responsibilities
Perform light homemaking tasks such as cleaning laundry meal preparation grocery shopping and errands.
Provide heavy chore services such as deep cleaning decluttering and sanitizing homes for safety and comfort.
Communicate professionally and report changes in client condition or environment.
Maintain accurate visit documentation through our mobile app (training provided).
Travel between client homes using your own reliable vehicle.
Requirements
Reliable car and valid Massachusetts drivers license
Ability to work short shifts and flexible schedules
Must pass a background check and reference screening
Current TB test or chest X-ray
Able to perform both homemaking and heavy chore assignments
Dependable trustworthy and professional
No prior experience needed
