Job Summary

Arapahoe Community College is seeking an engaging and equity-minded professional to serve as the Behavioral Health Program this role you will build systems to support the growth of the program. This full-time grant-funded position is designed to provide strategic leadership in marketing recruitment enrollment management and partnership development. The Program Strategist will be instrumental in building awareness strengthening recruitment pipelines and establishing industry and community partnerships to ensure the long-term success of the program. This position requires on-campus presence with an option for one remote day per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead marketing and recruitment efforts for Behavioral Health programs
  • Build partnerships with schools workforce centers and healthcare providers
  • Support program launches and facilitate Advisory Committee meetings
  • Promote and manage Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course logistics
  • Analyze enrollment data to refine outreach strategies
This is a grant funded position through December of 2026. Continuation of employment is contingent upon continued funding.

Qualifications

  • A bachelors degree in a related field.
    • An equivalent amount of education and experience will substitute for the education requirement above but will notcount towards the experience requirement below.
  • Experience with marketing tools social media platforms and digital communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to support and recruit students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills including public speaking and presentation skills.
  • Awareness of systemic barriers to student access and dedication to helping students overcome them.
Preferred:
  • Experience working in higher education particularly at a community college.
  • Experience in program marketing recruitment or enrollment management.
  • Experience guiding students through academic programs and site placements in healthcare or social/behavioral science fields.
  • Previous work as a high school counselor student case manager admissions representative recruiter career coach or in a similar role.
  • Practical experience cultivating partnerships with industry community or workforce organizations.
