We are seeking an experiencedLPN to support ourVista CareIntellectual & Developmental Disability Services operations in Southern Illinois.
Location/Travel:Position will mainly support programs in the Lincoln IL area.
Responsibilities:
TheLPNwill:
- Report to the Registered Nurse
- Provide education to the direct care staff on medication administration change in condition nursedelegated tasks and medical protocols.
- Provide nursing case management for the people receiving our services to ensure the BEST CAREpossible.
- Complete onsite nursing assessments as needed.
- Communicate with the local hospital pharmacy and/or persons primary care physician as needed.
- Complete various audits to ensure quality of care to the person receiving services.
- Complete all necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and all other necessary accreditation requirements.
- Be an active team member in collaboration with the nursing and operations team. Contribute positivelyand consistent with best practice expectations.
Requirements - Hold a validLPNlicense in the state applying or within the compact.
- Hold a valid drivers license with a good driving record.
- Ability to write and correspond in a legible manner operate general office equipment and maintain technical skills with google.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis bend twist reach and stand on a continual basis to meet the needs of the people receiving our services
