Home Service Technician

TruBlue of Frisco Prosper & Celina is hiring for a full-time Home Service Technician (Handyman/Handywoman/Contractor) to serve the areas of Frisco Prosper and Celina.

Role Overview

The Home Service Technician is responsible for performing a variety of home repair and maintenance services with a focus on quality safety and customer satisfaction. This role is ideal for a skilled tradesperson who enjoys problem-solving working independently and providing excellent service to homeowners and businesses.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general home repair installation and maintenance tasks with care and professionalism including:
- Minor carpentry (doors trim framing)
- Drywall repair and painting
- Basic plumbing (toilet installs faucet replacement leak fixes)
- Basic electrical (switch/outlet replacement light fixture installs)
- Tile flooring and other general repairs
Support home safety and accessibility for seniors aging in place
Communicate professionally with customers before during and after jobs
Keep work areas clean organized and safe at all times
Support the Lead Technician as needed
Maintain tools and company vehicle (if provided)
Maintain accurate records of labor materials and time spent on jobs

Ideal Candidate Profile

Passionate about delivering great customer experiences
5 years of paid hands-on home repair handyman maintenance or construction experience
Proficient in multiple trades (e.g. carpentry general maintenance light plumbing light electrical painting drywall tiling)
Committed to quality safety and doing the job right
Comfortable working independently and within a team
Strong work ethic reliable and respectful in every situation
Some experience in project estimating or quoting jobs preferred
Valid drivers license reliable transportation and standard tools
Fluent in English and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
