As a Platform Engineer you will be instrumental in shaping the backbone of our platform. You will design and maintain cloud-native architectures improve system reliability and scalability and enable other engineers to build features faster and more efficiently. Your work will influence both the technical direction and the everyday experience of engineers and users alike.

What youll do

You will collaborate with a team of experienced engineers to architect develop and operate our cloud-based microservices platform. Leveraging TypeScript AWS and event-driven architectures you will tackle complex challenges that require creative and robust solutions.

Your responsibilities include:

• Architect build and maintain highly scalable backend services and cloud infrastructure.

• Produce high-quality testable code and actively contribute to code reviews and pair programming.

• Drive platform-wide architectural improvements and technical decisions.

• Investigate production issues optimize system performance and ensure high quality and availability.

• Mentor team members share best practices and promote a culture of technical excellence.

The ideal candidate

probably doesnt exist but if you can tick most of the checkboxes below please apply!

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

• 5 years of programming experience in building and working on large scale distributed systems of which minimum 3 years of experience with

• Several years of experience with AWS Serverless services

• Experience with workflows such as Flux or Redux and Responsive web design

• Hands-on experience building infrastructure as code using YAML / CloudFormation / Terraform / GitHub

• Develop microservices and distributed systems

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze complex data and resolve issues

• Experience with agile development methodologies and excellent debugging and optimization skills.
