Job Summary/Description:

WCJB TV20 News seeks a talented and energetic meteorologist to join our award-winning team. We are looking for a qualified meteorologist who can prepare and deliver weather forecasts and weather information on WCJB TV20 and across our digital platforms.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Analyze weather data and prepare detailed forecasts
- Prepare graphics for the weather presentation
- Conversational on-air/on-camera presentation
- Flexible schedule for severe weather scenarios
- Post content and go live on our digital platforms

Qualifications/Requirements:

- A Bachelors degree in meteorology
- Prior experience as a broadcast meteorologist (amount will vary depending on specific position)
- Strong on-air communication skills
- Ability to work as part of an on-air weather team and part of a news team
- Ability to be creative with graphic design and presentation
