WORK SCHEDULE: Full Time Days. 6A-4:30P

HERES WHAT YOU NEED

Diploma of Nursing OR Associate degree in Nursing required.

BSN preferred.

1 Year Experience as a clinical nurse (RN) Required;

One (1) or more years experience in an Acute Care setting with ICU or Emergency experience strongly preferred

Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Required

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

Assesses the patient

Plans the care of the patient

Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift inter-hospital and while expediting out of hospital transfers
