Woodard & Curran is offering a unique opportunity to join our Remediation teamand provide high-quality environmental services to our clients nationwide.
Who are we looking for:
Were looking for a highly analytical and detail-driven Environmental Data Analyst/Data Scientist who thrives on using advanced data analysis techniques to tackle environmental this role youll play a vital part in supporting data collection management analysis and visualization tasks for a diverse range of challenging and engaging environmental remediation projects. Youll collaborate with scientists engineers and project managers to deliver data that informs regulatory compliance sustainability strategies and environmental decision-making. Location:Remote New Jersey
Travel:National up to 20%

To name a few projects may include:

    • Managing the environmental data for complex remediation sites in New Jersey.
    • Supporting teams in collecting environmental data.
    • Analyzing and visualizing data collected at sites across the country.

What you will be doing at Woodard & Curran:

    • Managing analyzing evaluating and interpreting data for use in reports and other visualizations including maps charts and 3D models.
    • Identify and recommend data management solutions and procedure improvements.
    • Work with and process environmental datasets and geospatial data.
    • Implement custom data driven workflows.
    • Assist in designing coding testing and documenting systems.
    • Support data management tasks throughout the data life cycle including data acquisition database maintenance and data quality assurance.
    • Collaborate with scientists engineers and project managers to interpret data and guide decision-making
    • Assist in preparing documentation for environmental assessments permits and reports

What you will need to succeed:

    • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Data Science Statistics or a related field
    • 5 years of experience in data analysis preferably in an environmental or sustainability context
    • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel SQL Python or R
    • Experience with GIS software (e.g. ArcGIS QGIS) is a plus
    • Experience with MS Power Platform (e.g. Power BI Power Apps Power Automate) a plus.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and data visualization abilities
    • Familiarity with environmental regulations and reporting standards
$90000 - $105000 a year
This positions anticipated pay range is provided and final salary (exempt) or hourly pay (non-exempt) will depend on years of experience skills education and geographic differentials to reflect cost of labor differences between markets. For hybrid employees the pay range is based on the office they are associated with while for remote employees it is based on their home office location.
