Job Summary
Inova Schar Cancer & Peterson Life with is looking for a dedicated Registered Dietitianto join the outpatient oncology team. This role is full-time Day Shift (40 hrs/week) Monday- Friday. We offer great pay based on experience!Plus dont forget about our other amazing benefits and perks!

Registered Dietitian Job Responsibilities:
- The Registered Dietitianprovides safe and therapeutic nutritional care in a comprehensive and systematic manner.
- Provides clinical services and acts as a resource to physicians nurses and other professional healthcare team members to provide patients with optimum nutritional care.
- Coordinates the nutrition care plan with the physician and other healthcare providers while serving as a resource in the integration of the nutrition care plan into the comprehensive plan of care for the patient.
- Formulates an individualized nutrition plan of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice.
- May perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree minimum if licensed before 1/1/2024; Dietitians registered after 1/1/2024 must hold a masters degree and aDietetic internship or equivalent
- Certification:
- Registered Dietitian (RD) requiredwithin 3 months of hire
- Basic Life Support from American Heart Association requiredwithin 3 months of hire
