Job Summary
- Receive and record guests reservations and assign tables
- Greet guests at entrance of dining room restaurant or lounge and escort them to tables or other seating areas
- Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service and attend to complaints
- Order necessary dining room supplies and equipment
- Inspect dining and serving areas and equipment
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of food and beverage servers and other serving staff
- Maintain financial statements and records.
- Comply to LQA and Forbes standards at all times whilst on duty.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications :
- Have completed secondary school education.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hospitality related Degree or Diploma
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience as a waitress/hostess in a five-star hotel
- Willingness to work during peak hours including nights weekends and holidays.
- Advanced levels of Business English
- Proficiency in a second language such as Arabic.
- Excellent food & beverage knowledge
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experienced in Fire & Life safety systems.
