We currently have an opportunity for an Aged Debt Collections Team Leader to join our team based in Bournemouth. Joining us on a full-time permanent basis you will receive a competitive salary of 31341 per annum plus excellent benefits.
About the role
The Aged Debt Collections team leader role is to contribute to the financial viability of PWS through reviewing complex aged debt and collecting payments and applying the appropriate intervention for each commercial customer to maximise the level payments collected.
What youll be doing:
- You will be the first point of contact for all Debt staff along with providing support and guidance in all areas of their role.
- Ensuring that all daily tasks are completed through monitoring and workflow management.
- Building and inspiring a team to achieve elevated resolutions of ageing debt with a high standard of customer service.
- To support the team to deliver an exceptional cash collection and account resolution payment processing and debt recovery process for all customers across PWS.
- Motivate and inspire the team using appropriate training methods and engagement activities to investigate and action overdue accounts.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience of working in credit management and/or collections in a supervisory capacity.
- Able to demonstrate understanding of litigation process and a sound understanding of business goals and objectives.
- Provide excellent levels of customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage difficult customer situations
- Educated to GCSE grade A-C or equivalent
