The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards (OSCCS) is responsible for managing the student misconduct process at UW-Madison. This process is governed by three chapters of Wisconsin administrative law that apply to all UW campuses and students (Chapters 14 17 and 18).
OSCCS is seeking an Administrator to serve as the first point of contact for the office. This person will communicate with students faculty staff parents/guardians alumni attorneys and the public through various channels including in-person email telephone text and our Maxient database. To be successful in this role the Administrator must handle a wide range of situations with patience and understanding. It is essential to manage sensitive student information appropriately maintaining a high level of confidentiality as required by federal and state laws. This position is ideal for someone who can maintain an in-depth knowledge of OSCCS services to resolve and document requests and escalate urgent issues to the appropriate OSCCS staff while working in a dynamic fast-paced environment.

Reporting to the Dean of Students within Student Affairs the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards at UW-Madison strives to ensure the universitys teaching learning research and service activities occur in living and learning environments that are safe and free from violence harassment fraud theft disruption and intimidation. OSCCS is responsible for addressing student academic and nonacademic misconduct; this responsibility is separate from and independent of any civil or criminal action resulting from a students conduct. The expected minimum starting salary for this position is $50000.00 annually. Actual pay will depend on experience and qualifications.
