Introduction
The Outreach and Research Programme of the Department of Paediatrics and Child Health has ten community-based field sites across Pakistan (including four in Karachi) and focuses on research for betterment of women and child health. The Department has a Nutritional Research Laboratory as well as an Infectious Disease Research Laboratory that cater to the needs of its research projects. It has well-acclaimed work to its credit both at the national and international level.

This is a grant funded contractual position
Responsibilities
you will be responsible to:
coordinate with administrative and fleet management team to arrange the vehicle and resources needed
plan & Organize project related events(meetings/conferences/seminars/visits) with assistance of budgeting logistics team
coordinate with assigned faculty members manage their calendar clinic schedules typing letters and memos coordinating with patients for summary and support in hiring and credentialing of faculty members within the department.
coordinate with Research & Grants administration team and assist in budget development taking follow ups from relevant departments.
ensure timely submission of financial reports prepare submit and maintain documents pertaining to compliance and audits as per the internal and external policies
provide support to Manager Department of Paediatrics in the recruitment process of faculty/physicians and staff to meet the staffing needs in collaboration with Human Resources.
help in coordinating developmental plans to ensure continuous learning and development of staff
Requirement
You should have:
Masters degree or any equivalent additional training and certification will be plus
at least 4 to 6 years of work experience in Administrative/business position
excellent Communication and Supervisory skills
good language skills in Urdu and English (both written and verbal)
ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively
resilience and ability to cope up with work pressure and stringent deadlines
willing to travel and work in the communities / rural field sites
proficiency in the use of computer applications particularly MS office
ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
