Glazing Service Manager

We are seeking for a skilled and experienced Glazing Service Manager to lead our Glazing Service Department. Key responsibilities include supervising a team of estimators/ account managers office operations personnel and technicians ensuring adherence to safety protocols managing customer satisfaction and service requests overseeing work order completion and supporting sales growth by providing quotes and identifying new opportunities. The role requires strong leadership technical knowledge of glazing and excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
A Day in the Life
Supervision and Team Leadership:
Train mentor and develop the service team to enhance technical skills and customer service performance.
Oversee team performance conduct reviews and foster a positive and productive work environment.
Provide support to the Superintendent by supervising service technicians and ensuring efficient high-quality service delivery.
Sales Support:
Work closely with the sales team to support service-related sales growth in the branch.
Provide accurate and timely quotations for service work as needed ensuring customer value.
Help identify potential new business opportunities through excellent service delivery.
Work Order Management:
Ensure the timely and professional completion of all service work orders with the highest level of quality.
Oversee the completion of all required service documentation for each work order is accurate and completed in a timely manner.
Monitor for consistent quality control across all service jobs.
Customer Satisfaction and Service Delivery:
Maintain our customer-first philosophy by monitoring response times quality of work and overall satisfaction.
Provide support to the Account Management team and assist with customer communications ensuring that client needs and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Work closely with the team on customer expectations and manage escalated customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
Safety Policy and Procedures:
Ensure all service personnel adhere to Flynns safety policies and procedures daily.
Guarantee the availability and proper use of all required safety equipment on job sites.
Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
Heres what you bring to the table:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the glazing industry with a deep understanding of glazing products and services.
Basic computer knowledge including experience with work order management systems spreadsheets and email communication.
Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role with a focus on safety customer satisfaction and team development.
Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
