Job Description

Location: Dallas TX

As the Wire & Cable Manufacturing Manager youll lead a high-impact team producing application-specific multi-core cable and ruggedized assemblies for a variety of industries. Your leadership will directly influence our ability to deliver reliable high-performance solutions to customers who depend on us. Youll oversee a team of both direct and indirect reportsensuring smooth operations across multiple shifts with occasional weekend work. This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions shape safety quality and efficiency on the floor.

What youll do

  • Lead and support a team consisting of supervisor technicians and machine operators across multiple shifts
  • Prioritize production schedules based on product launches equipment efficiency and material availability
  • Resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions to improve processes
  • Work with suppliers and engineers to review develop and test new materials for use in wire and cable products
  • Collaborate with engineering on documentation work instructions and routing
  • Participate in reviews of non-conforming materials and drive quality improvements
  • Estimate labor and process capabilities for new product introductions
  • Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulations
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback
  • Oversee cross-training and development of wire and cable production staff
  • Foster a culture of teamwork accountability and continuous improvement
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures

What you need

  • Strong leadership and communication skills Required
  • 5 years experience managing manufacturing operations preferably in wire and cable Required
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and production schedules Required
  • Knowledge of production planning materials flow and workflow optimization Required
  • Engineering discipline degree or equivalent technical background Preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent Required
  • Proficiency in a second language Preferred
  • Willingness to work across two shifts with some weekend availability Required
  • All candidates must hold US Person Status for access to ITAR controlled technical data
