Job Title:Registered Nurse Emergency Room
Location:Hyannis MA
Type:Contract
Shift & Schedule:Night shift (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) 3x12s/week includes alternating weekends and holidays
Duration:13 weeks
Pay rate:$62.00 $65.00 per hour

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingRegistered Nurse Emergency Roomfor an exciting Travel or Local job inHyannis MA.

Required Skills & Experience:

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience
At least 1 year of ER travel nursing experience
Active Massachusetts RN license
BLS & ACLS certifications (required and must be maintained)
Successful completion of CCH Pharmacology exam & Basic Arrhythmia exam
Proficient in:

IV administration and IV starts
Ventilator care
Telemetry monitoring

Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English

Preferred Qualifications:

TNCC ENPC and PALS certifications
Completion of an approved de-escalation certification course

Purpose & Responsibilities:

Deliver patient care using the nursing process (assessment planning implementation evaluation)
Administer medications and monitor patient response
Direct and support patient care and ancillary staff
Maintain professional nursing standards in line with hospital policy
Ensure accurate patient documentation and discharge planning
Serve as charge nurse when assigned
Participate in staff meetings mandatory programs and continuing education activities
Adhere to all safety and infection control policies
Maintain ongoing professional development and competency
Represent the hospital professionally to patients families and the community
