As the Senior Processor you will support first line escalations for claims providing support on complex situations and assisting with process improvements within the team. What youll do;
Assess and verify all medical and ancillary claims and ensure they are processed within SLAs and with minimal claim adjustments
Monitor medical eclipse claims and message functions providing a prompt response to Medicare
Reconcile electronic claims through the HAMBS system ensuring minimisation of settlement variations
Provide other administration and support services as required
Assist with reporting requirements as needed ensuring all reporting is completed within required timeframes
Identify opportunities to grow our business by recognising Member needs and communicating solutions
Complete quality assurance checking and deliver results while actively coaching team members
About you
Youre someone who takes pride in getting details right and delivering work that makes a difference to members. You bring strong experience in claims or membership processing and a solid understanding of business rules systems and procedures that keep things running smoothly.
Youre confident using systems like Support Point and Microsoft Office and youre comfortable handling data communicating clearly and providing support to colleagues and stakeholders. Whether youre assessing complex claims resolving a member query or helping a teammate understand a process you do it with professionalism and care.
