Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer in our Corporate and Enabling Services division the Chief Digital Information Officer (CDIO) leads the organisations strategies for and investment in data and information systems and services aligned to the needs of the business.
The CDIO leads the development and delivery of data digital IT Artificial Intelligence (AI) and cyber strategies to enable DCCEEW to achieve strategic and operational goals and maximises returns from IT investments to improve operational effectiveness. DCCEEW recognises our Data and Systems as key enablers to our success. The CDIO will be responsible for:
About You
To be successful in this position you will be an experienced people leader with a proven track record in delivering highly complex IT functions and projects across large organisations. You will be both customer service and solutions focused in your approach and you will have experience in delivering positive business outcomes through collaboration and strong stakeholder engagement skills. Your technical capabilities will include IT strategy architecture and execution ensuring alignment with relevant NSW Government Strategies (e.g. data digital IT AI cyber) and industry practice including the development of comprehensive strategies that incorporate emerging technologies and transformational digital solutions.
