Scheduled Weekly Hours:

Registered Nurse Neurosurgery Clinic

Location: East Building 3rd Floor La Crosse WI
FTE: 0.8 (64 hours per two weeks)
Schedule: MondayFriday 7:30 AM4:00 PM or 8:00 AM4:30 PM No weekends holidays or on-call
Starting Pay: $30.46/hour (higher based on experience)

About the Role

Join our growing Neurosurgery Clinic team and make a meaningful impact on patients facing complex and life-changing procedures such as brain tumor surgeries spinal fusions and discectomies. As an RN youll provide a mix of patient education nurse-only visits and phone triage support. Youll work closely with neurosurgeons advanced practice clinicians and a supportive nursing team to deliver exceptional care.

What Youll Do

Conduct nurse-only visits for pre-op and post-op care including patient education halo vest changes and wound care
Support patients through procedures including Deep Brain Stimulation
Manage phone triage and in-basket tasks on dedicated rotation days
Collaborate with clinicians and APCs to ensure seamless patient care

What Were Looking For

Must Have:
- Active RN licensed to practice in the state of Wisconsin
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Neuroscience Med-Surg or Rehab preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and multitasking skills
Preferred:
- EPIC experience
- Phone triage background
- Calm team-oriented personality with an eagerness to learn and grow
- Ability to build positive relationships and adapt to challenges proactively
