Experienced or Senior Project Management Specialist

Boeing Product Security Engineering (PSE) organization is actively seeking a Senior Project Management Specialist to help build a world-class Product Security workforce. The selected candidate will be able to choose from the following work locations: Oklahoma City OK; Berkeley MO; El Segundo CA; Huntsville AL; Ridely Park PA; Seattle WA; St Louis City MO.

You will design and deliver people strategies to attract develop deploy and retain high-performing engineers and create practical staffing processes manager tools and career development resources. Partnering with engineering leaders PSE business units Government Operations Legal HR and Finance you will lead cross-functional initiatives to improve skill health internal mobility onboarding learning pathways and technical acumen. Were looking for a people-first hands-on leader who can convert strategic vision into scalable programs that empower our teams and enable Boeing to deliver exceptional engineering.

Primary responsibilities:

• Leads planning scheduling coordination and execution of workforce strategies across multiple business units to ensure consistent implementation of workforce management and development practices
• Implements and manages a PSE employee rotation program
• Facilitates management of the PSE Technical Fellowship Talent Review process
• Supports the management of PSE training requirements. Including development and procurement as necessary
• Leads the development and execution PSE skill health assessment efforts
• Establishes an operational rhythm for resource forecasting and staffing ensure planning is complete and maintain a sourcing strategy for Boeing employees contract labor and purchased services
• Builds relationships to gain support and commitment from others promote ideas with enthusiasm conviction and assertiveness
• Facilitates recurring meetings technical exchanges and reviews
• Communicates plans and strategies with senior/executive leadership
• Drives results using appropriate processes tools schedules metrics and data analytics

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

• Level 3: 6 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Level 4: 10 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelors degree or higher
• 6 years of experience planning managing and executing projects
• 5 years of experience leading workshops and working sessions
• Experience utilizing scheduling tools (i.e. OPP MS Project Primavera or Artemis etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing and presenting to executives

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

• Project management certification (PMP PMI PMBOK PMBP etc)
• Experience managing or leading teams
• Familiarity with talent pipeline management
• Experience in cybersecurity security network architecture embedded systems security or security testing and evaluation
• Procurement and/or Finance experience
• Experience with web portal management
• Experience with HCL Forms
