Job Title: Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Adult Inpatient
Location: New York NY
Schedule: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
Contract: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate:
Local: $2346/week
Travelers: $2930/week
Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingRegistered Nurse - Behavioral Health Adult Inpatientfor an exciting Travel or Local job inNew York NY.
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients in an inpatient behavioral health unit
Administer medications and monitor patient responses per treatment plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including psychiatrists therapists and social workers
Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with hospital and state regulations
Participate in crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed
Promote a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
Minimum 1 year of recent behavioral health or psychiatric nursing experience
Current BLS certification required
Strong communication critical thinking and de-escalation skills
Experience with EHR systems preferred
