Job Description

Site Overview:

The GE Aerospace facility in McAllen TX is one of our centers of expertise specializing in the repair of engine components used in commercial and military aircraft. These include LPT nozzles HPT Nozzles and HPT Hangars. Youll find state of the art technologies in CNC EDM & Coating as well as advanced technology development within our new Tech Lab!

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Compliance:Ensure compliance with aviation regulations monitor changes and adapt processes accordingly. Manage regulatory certificates and approvals.
  • Auditing:Conduct internal external and supplier audits customer inspections and process reviews. Drive corrective actions to completion.
  • Documentation Management:Maintain accurate records of quality processes certifications and compliance documentation to ensure traceability and accountability.
  • FLIGHT DECK:Collaborate to drive continuous improvement lead problem-solving efforts and ensure corrective actions are effective and sustainable.
  • Training:Develop and deliver training on regulatory requirements quality expectations and best practices.
  • Regulatory Customer & Stakeholder Interface:Support customer concerns manage regulatory visits and ensure transparent communication with customers regulators and suppliers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 6 years of experience in Quality/Manufacturing or relevant experience

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong knowledge of National Aviation Authority Regulations (e.g. Part 145 PC108)
  • FAA Repairman or A&P certificate desired
  • Experience conducting audits and managing corrective actions
  • Proficiency in quality management systems and tools
  • Excellent communication skills including technical writing and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. Therefore employment will be contingent upon the ability to prove that you meet the status of a U.S. Person as one of the following: U.S. lawful permanent resident U.S. Citizen have been granted asylee or refugee status (i.e. a protected individual under the Immigration and Naturalization Act 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)).
