The base pay range for this role is estimated to be$34000 - $64000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will Do In This Role:

As a Mechanical Installation Technician at Dematic Corp. you will:

• Coordinate the layout and pre-assembly of conveyor systems ensuring flawless component integration.
• Install header steel platforms structural steel and various mechanical components with precision.
• Assemble and align conveyors guard rails racks and air piping (aluminum copper black iron).
• Interpret and work from detailed mechanical drawings layout diagrams and assembly instructions to successfully implement project plans.
• Collaborate with electrical and controls teams during the installation and commissioning phases to ensure seamless integration.
• Conduct detailed mechanical pre-start checks and operational testing assisting in troubleshooting any mechanical faults that arise.
• Adhere strictly to safety procedures lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols and company quality standards to maintain a safe work environment.
• Maintain accurate installation records inspection reports and test documentation to support project completion.
• Keep tools equipment and work areas organized and in a safe condition.
• Be ready for a role that involves 100% travel with extensive trips across the U.S.

• Have reliable transportation for travel to job sites anywhere in the U.S.
• Can acquire OSHA 10 certification upon hire.

Successful candidates will have:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience and knowledge in installing and/or maintaining conveyor equipment is preferred.
• Some computer experience with basic skills in emailing spreadsheet input and report input.
• A valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
