Job Title: MRI Technologist
Location: New York NY
Assignment Type: Contract
Local Pay: $2325/week
Travel Pay: $3136/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seekingMRI Technologistfor an exciting Travel or Local job inNew York NY.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MRI imaging procedures according to established protocols.
Position patients and MRI coils to ensure optimal imaging results.
Review and verify patient safety questionnaires before scanning.
Provide patient education regarding the MRI procedure safety and expectations.
Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate labeling per department standards.
Upload completed studies to PACS and maintain timely documentation in the Radiology Information System (IDX).
Maintain MRI room cleanliness safety and equipment readiness at all times.
Report any equipment malfunctions or unsafe conditions promptly.
Assist physicians and clinical staff during imaging procedures as needed.
Adhere to infection control safety and radiation protection protocols.
Maintain continuing education and licensure compliance.

Qualifications:
Required Education & Certifications:

Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T.-approved Radiologic Technology program
NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology
A.R.R.T. MRI Registry
BCLS Certification

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong background in cross-sectional anatomy physiology and MRI physics
Excellent technical and patient care skills

Preferred:

Two (2) years of MRI experience
Prior experience operating specific MRI scanners
