Job Summary
Were looking for a MEG Technologist someone whos ready to grow with our this position youll provide findings results and a descriptive analysis according to facility policy and procedures. Excellent communication skills are essential for this position. This position also performs procedures appropriate to their competence and credentials held under general technical supervision.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Performs set up and preparation of equipment/supplies for ordered test
Reviews patients history obtains any necessary information or documentation and provides education to patient about procedures. Monitors and documents patients condition at all times and reports any adverse reactions
Ensures electrode application in adherence with the International 1020 & 10-10 System
Operates and maintains a variety of equipment to obtain diagnostic data including EEG (Electroencephalography) EP (Evoked Potential) equipment
Recognizes and corrects for artifacts to ensure for proper acquisition of the MEG study
Documents patient information in patients electronic medical record according to hospital and departmental guidelines
Informs manager or designee of all patient/personal injury or unsafe situations anticipated problems and unusual situations; completes appropriate related documentation according to departmental and hospital guidelines
Works with departmental staff and other health care professionals by volunteering regularly to help others when time allows
Communicates effectively with patient/family department staff physicians and other health care professionals to promote quality patient care
Follows institutional and departmental guidelines related to patient employee and departmental confidentiality
Maintains Continuous Service Readiness (CSR) within center to ensure a safe environment quality patient care and successful completion of site surveys (i.e. mock surveys Joint Commission)
Skills & Requirements
H.S. Diploma or GED required
REEGT - Reg Electroencephalogra Tech by American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) required
2 years of experience in electroneurodiagnostic technology required
