Senior Product Manager Personal Lines Auto

About the role...

• Responsible for managing all aspects of their product within assigned geographic territory generally four to six mid size states.
• Assesses profitability growth competitors strategies and initiates changes to the product or rating approach in the territory in order to maximize Farmers opportunities.

What youll accomplish...

• Responsible for profits/losses in assigned product/territory. Develops long and short-term plans for their assigned product/territory with corresponding State Executives.
• Directs development of pricing and contract changes for product.
• Manages the analysis and research performed in the development of their product and its alignment others.
• Works with IT to develop requirements for system enhancements.
• Communicates with regulators on complex filing issues.
• Develops and recommends operations service claims and market standards.
• Stays abreast of industry developments.
• Negotiates and sets priorities to align product goals with the State Executives goals.
• Recruits trains and develops product analysts Coordinates state and home office legislative and regulatory affairs providing input on key bills and regulation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical actions...

• This role whether performed virtually or in an office setting will include normal and customary distractions noise and interruptions.
• Sits or stands for extended periods of time up to a full work shift.
• Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees including bending twisting pulling and stooping.
• Occasionally moves lifts carries and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance.
• Listens to interprets and differentiates auditory information (example others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
• Visually verifies and reads information.
• Visually locates material resources and other objects.
• Ability to continuously operate a computer for extended periods of time up to a full work shift.
• Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands arms and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift.

Education needed...

• Bachelors degree required preferably in mathematical or statistical field.
• Graduate degree preferred.

Experience needed...

• 5 years experience in State Product Management experience required
• North Carolina State Product Management experience preferred.
