Description
Boston Speech Therapy a woman and speech therapist-owned company is looking for a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist for a full-time position at a competitive rate of $90 per this role you will provide psychological assessment and intervention services to support a diverse student population. Your ability to communicate will be vital as you engage with students families and educators to promote academic success and emotional well-being. This role will primarily focus on assessments in an elementary and middle school setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychological evaluations and assessments Cognitive and Academic testing
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff
- Advocate for student needs ensuring appropriate resources and supports are provided
- Engage with families to foster effective communication and support for students
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
Requirements - Masters degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
- Fluency in Spanish and English both spoken and written
- Experience in psychological assessments and interventions in an educational setting
- Strong understanding of cultural responsiveness in education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to supporting the emotional and academic success of students
