Design Lead â MEP

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Design Lead MEP to join our team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As the Design Lead you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical electrical and plumbing design aspects of complex building projects ensuring high-quality efficient and sustainable solutions.

• Lead and coordinate MEP design teams throughout all project phases from concept to completion
• Develop and review MEP design documents including drawings specifications and calculations
• Collaborate with architects structural engineers and other stakeholders to ensure integrated design solutions
• Manage project budgets schedules and resources effectively
• Implement and maintain quality control processes for MEP design deliverables
• Stay current with industry trends technologies and local building codes and regulations
• Mentor and develop junior team members fostering a culture of continuous improvement
• Participate in client meetings and presentations to communicate design concepts and solutions
• Ensure compliance with local and international standards codes and sustainability requirements
• Optimize MEP systems for energy efficiency and performance

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent
• Minimum 20 years of experience in MEP design with a proven track record of leading complex projects
• Advanced knowledge of MEP systems and design principles
• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit MEP
• Strong project management skills including budget and resource allocation
• Excellent leadership and team mentoring abilities
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• In-depth understanding of building codes and regulations in Saudi Arabia
• Experience with sustainable design practices and energy-efficient MEP systems
• LEED AP certification preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative environment
• Willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements and industry standards
