Job Summary
dopay a pioneering fintech startup revolutionising payroll solutions is seeking a talented Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. Based in downtown Cairo at the Greek Campus you will play a key role in ensuring that our software products meet the highest quality standards. Your work will contribute to our mission of integrating cash-based workers into the mainstream financial system while enhancing user satisfaction with our services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans test cases and test scripts based on feature specifications and user stories.
- Identify record and track bugs using issue tracking systems.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to improve software quality throughout the development process.
- Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure robustness performance and reliability of applications.
- Review and analyze system specifications as well as conduct peer reviews of testing documentation.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing practices and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in software quality assurance or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG).
- Proficient in writing clear concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality software.
