About the department:
BYD is market leader across all ranges - passenger cars trucks buses and warehousing equipment.
The R&D department plans the sustainable product and technology road map for Europe and works on developing advanced full electric vehicles series which fulfill current and future European private transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers the R&D department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.
As R&D Engineer you will do research analysis and evaluation of E-mobility products user experience and usability of both passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will use these research insights for the product development and iteration working closely together with product design and engineering teams.
Your main responsibility is:
- Act as the contact person for R&D center and responsible for the coordination of technical support.
- Responsible for the field quality issues of overseas car models coordinate the analysis and elimination for the vehicle failures & customer complaints.
- Manage the input of overseas related special requirements and ensure the conformity in project phases participate the development activities of overseas projects.
- Participate to build up and continually improve the development process & procedure for overseas projects.
- Participate the cross-function coordination throughout the project phases as quality role.
- Perform other quality related tasks required by the team leader.
Your personal information:
- Bachelors degree and above in mechanics electronics engineering or quality management.
- Language: Fluent business English(Chinese is a plus).
- Can accept occasional traveling(mainly including Europe and China).
- Driving license for Europe area.
- Excellent communication skills and strong ability for coordination.
- Interested in new energy auto industry.
