About the Role
This full-time permanent position involves teaching Biology across KS3KS5 inspiring students to explore the living world through inquiry-based and practical science. The successful candidate will be joining a collaborative team committed to sharing best practice and delivering engaging hands-on lessons.
You will:
Teach Biology using interactive experiment-led approaches that promote curiosity and discovery
Support GCSE and A-Level students with exam preparation practical coursework and university pathways
Contribute to the schools fieldwork trips such as coastal ecology studies and conservation projects
Collaborate on cross-curricular initiatives with Geography PE and Environmental Science
Encourage engagement with STEM careers through guest speakers research projects and national competitions

Experience and Qualifications:
QTS/PGCE and degree in Biology or Life Sciences
Experience teaching KS3KS5 desirable though ECTs are welcome
