About the Role
This full-time permanent position involves teaching English Language and Literature from KS3 to KS5 encouraging creativity independent thought and analytical precision. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons in English Language and Literature
Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations ensuring high standards of academic performance
Encourage discussion debate and creative writing within the classroom
Support the schools literary culture through reading clubs debating and drama productions
Participate in departmental planning moderation and enrichment initiatives
